And even in Brian Atwood heels, Anna Kendrick was forced to carry the extra-long hemline of her Elie Saab black gown like a train at tonight's Toronto Film Festival premiere of her new film End of Watch.

The petite 27-year-old looked
otherwise fantastic in her dramatic dress featuring a sexy side-slit and
spiderweb-like net lace detail on her arms and back.
The Up In The Air star finished her movie star look with a Judith Leiber clutch and Forever Mark ring and earrings.
The Twilight star's make-up and hair
were flawless as she greeted fans and posed on the red carpet outside
the Princess of Wales Theatre.

In the incredible crime-drama from
Training Day director David Ayer, Anna plays Janet, the brainy love
interest for Jake Gyllenhaal's cop character.
While shooting the film about two
young police officers marked for death by a notorious Mexican cartel,
Anna found herself the unlikely subject of gossip tabloids when a
picture of the two arm in arm surfaced last year.

She told iVillage the two were
definitely not an item, adding that she had 'no idea how' her recently
broken up Twilight costars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart 'stay
sane with all that kind of attention.'
The hunky bearded stud also greeted fans and posed alongside his charismatic co-star and fellow cop character Michael Peña, 36.
The 31-year-old leading man opted out
of wearing a tie with his black Prada suit and white dress shirt, while
Peña wore a grey suit, white dress shirt, and a striped tie.
Not seen today was Anna's boyfriend
of thee years, London-based director Edgar Wright, 38, whom she met
during the production of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.
'My parents got married late and they
had kids late, so I never felt a social or cultural thing to be married
or pregnant or a homeowner by a certain age,' Kendrick recently told The Independent of her relationship.
Last month, she wrapped the independent comedy, Drinking Buddies, in Chicago alongside Olivia Wilde and Ron Livingston.
Anna will warm up her singing pipes
for the musical comedy Pitch Perfect coming out October 5, and she'll
also star in next year's The Company You Keep alongside Robert Redford,
Shia LaBeouf, Julie Christie, and Susan Sarandon.
The cast and crew of End of Watch, due out September 21, also celebrated their cinematic baby at the Grey
Goose Vodka soiree at Soho House Toronto.

beautiful Latina actresses - Natalie Martinez as Peña's wife Gabby and
America Ferrera as the tough police officer II Orozco.
Martinez, the former spokesmodel for
JLO by Jennifer Lopez, wore a sheer embroidered red mini-dress with a
sexy open back and tassel hemline.
And the 28-year-old Ugly Betty star wore a modern-looking LBD with metallic shoulder detail and gold pumps.
Also at the premiere were the film's executive producer Randall Emmett, 41, and his wife actress Ambyr Childers 24, who will appear in the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson film The Master.

It was obviously a borrowed gown that had to be returned to the designer. But the potential PR / marketing opportunity has backfired with this bad press. They should have hemmed it for her height.
