With brooding dark looks, a designer wardrobe and a stunning fiance, Mario Falcone is used to making people 'well jel'.

However, when he discovered his car windscreen had been smashed, he looked absolutely devastated.

The reality TV star was with his partner, Lucy Mecklenburgh, when he found his luxury car had been vandalised, perhaps by someone who isn't a fan of the show and the flashy lifestyles it promotes.

The couple found his white car had been targeted by vandals when they went to pick it up from a car park near Epping Forest, Essex.

The windscreen was severely cracked but it had not shattered, as if someone had thrown a brick at it from close range.

Other than a severely damaged windscreen, the super car seemed to be otherwise unscathed.

The Audi R8 Spyder retails at over £100,225 and is inspired by racing cars.

Mario, 24, wearing a grey varsity style jacket and jeans and looked shaken as he gently touched the damaged glass.

In one photo he is seen lifting his hand to the sky, as if to ask 'Why?'

Similarly, his fiance Lucy looked sombre as she stood silently by his side.

She looked pretty in a pink sleeveless shirt with studded collar, and fitted jeans

Lucy and Mario are both prolific tweeters, but today they kept relatively silent, and did not make any mention of the shock discovery.

Perhaps they are busy waiting for AutoGlass, or the police have advised them to keep quiet while they investigate what happened.

It's not the first time the TOWIE cast have been targeted by vandals.

Earlier this year Lauren Goodger's beauty parlour, Lauren's Way, was firebombed, and in June Lydia Bright's boutique had it's front windows smashed.

Chillingly, Lucy was in Bella Sorella when the masked hoodlum struck, meaning she has had more than her fair share of criminal damage to deal with this year.

Perhaps the Essex lovebirds can take strength from the knowledge that they aren't the only people who have had to deal with broken glass today.

Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, 31, called in a police forensic team after her Range Rover was broken in to.

Experts were seen dusting the car for prints earlier today, and removing remnants of glass from the silver vehicle's passenger window.

Sometimes if you force the public to read about people who nobody has a clue what their profession is or why they are in the newspaper, making money out of being stupid, it can lead to negative reactions like this.
