She's kept quiet about her exact due date, but it looks like Reese Witherspoon will be having her third child very soon.

The 36-year-old actress displayed her huge baby bump in a black satin minidress as she headed out with husband Jim Toth and children Ava and Deacon in Brentwood, California, on Sunday night.

Reese wore her blonde hair tied back in a bun and sensibly opted for flat black sandals as she made her way to the restaurant for dinner.

The This Means War actress is expecting her third child - her first with her second husband Toth.

And despite a scare which saw her briefly hospitalised last month, Reese appears to have coped well during her pregnancy.

However, according to reports, Reese has been suffering from a few unusual cravings.

A source said recently: 'Reese has been waking up at 3am and craving seaweed smoothies, pickles and peanut butter all together, plus chicken wings smothered in barbecue sauce.

'In the day, she only wants bananas and strawberry yoghurt – by the litre. She usually sticks to a healthy diet so she's hoping the cravings stop soon.'

Meanwhile, despite the fact that Reese has yet to have her baby, she has already signed up for one of her post-baby projects.

Reese has apparently committed to star in Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus - the adaptation of John Gray's best-selling self-help book for women, directed by big-screen newcomer Bryan Buckley.

Scriptwriters Harry Elfont and Deborah Kaplan are responsible for creating a storyline loosely based on the iconic text, which was released in 1992 and offers advice about how to understand the differences between the sexes and improve your relationship.

The tome has sold over 50 million copies, becoming the best selling non-fiction hardcover book of all-time after the Bible and the Koran.

Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus begins shooting in January.

Such negative c omments from a couple of people who don't even know her. Some people live in fantasy land, really they do. She looks great, and by all accounts she has a pretty amicable relationship with her ex husband and doesn't look like he has any problems with seeing his kids. I doubt that she would ever do such a thing to her children, unlike, Halle Berry - - Ashley , USA, 10/9/2012 22:42 Pretty amicable? Maybe. It they never look happy when they are around. It's known that Ryan hates Reese for what she did.

I know this woman and everything nice about her that the comments below are false. She is arrogant and judgmental. Remember, she refused to give Ryan physical custody of the kids and he had to fight for them to get it.

- gusty , Surrey, United Kingdom, 10/9/2012 17:20 - Thank you! I also believe pregnant women are beautiful, irrespective of their weight and the size and shape of their tummies. My daughter was huge from the sixth month, but had a normal sized baby, but I know of women who - because they were tall - hardly showed and had huge babies. The most important thing is that they are caring for an unborn, hopefully healthy child and definitely deserve respect!

i never hear a bad word about Reece, i think its because shes fairly normal and grounded! Plus she seems like the kind of girl you could be mates with! Very pretty woman, as to her taste in men it's simply glorious. I have never seen her without an attractive partner! She just gets on with her job and doesnt flaunt herself all over the tabloids! I can't help but laugh at the above comments! If ya'll knew the REAL truth about this woman and her ~cough~ husband ~cough~....until then...........
