Teen sensation Miley Cyrus was not expecting to get such a grilling from the cute little girls but was happy to stop and chat to them.

The former Disney star was dressed up for the glitzy event but still found time to compliment her interviewers on their pretty matching blue dresses.

The 19-year-old wasn't even due to be questioned by the two girls but was drawn towards them as she walked past and said: 'I watch your videos all the time, you are so cute.'

Sophia Grace eased Miley into the line of questioning by complimenting her and said: 'I like your new haircut do you think we should get our hair changed?'

Miley replied: 'No don't cut your hair, your hair is so pretty. Grow it out like a little princess.'

However, it wasn't long until the girls got down to the nitty gritty and started to probe the singer like seasoned professionals.

After asking to see her engagement ring, Sophia Grace asked when exactly Miley and fiance Liam Hemsworth would tie-the-knot.

Clearly not expecting the question she said: 'I don't know yet, God you guys are good.'

Sophia Grace proved that she is not only a decent talker, but she can hold a tune too as she serenaded Alicia Keys, 31, with You Don't Know My Name.

Miss Keys got completely in the groove and harmonised with the child star as well as danced her way through the brief duet.

The musician the girls were most excited about meeting was Nicki Minaj, who they had met previously on the Ellen DeGeneres show.

As Rosie announced that she could Nicki's blonde wig the rapper arrived on the scene and greeted the girls.

South Korean rapper Psy also gave the girls five minutes of his time to teach the girls the dance to his hit single Gangnam Style.

The sprightly duo also asked for donations to be made towards their college fund by presenting a piggy bank to a number of stars including Gotye and Tom Petty.

MTV VMAs host Kevin Hart left the pair with a sugar rush after being given a handful of sweets to celebrate the 10th season of The Ellen Degeneres show.

After their exciting day at the awards show, Sophia Grace and Rosie headed back to talk about their adventure with Ellen.

The chat show host has plenty to celebrate at the moment as her new season kicked off with its highest ratings since the 2006-07 season.

The Emmy Award winner has already welcomed Simon Cowell and Britney Spears on the show and will have even more stars appearing later this year.

They became "stars" because Ellen has them on her show every chance she gets. They're becoming old very quickly.

I do like the girls, but I would never ever want to be in a room with them for more than three minutes. Also, Nicki Minaj a role model? Have you seen what she tweets?

How cute are these girls, I just hope they dont watch or listen to Nicky Minaj songs though :/ - Jakamoko, Villamarxant, Spain, 12/9/2012 7:46 Thats how it started with NM song, that they put on YouTube and Ellen brought them on show as well as Nicky. They know every word.

When I saw the article, I thought I was going to be annoyed but when I watched the video, I was pleasantly surprised. They're adorable...and that's coming from someone who doesn't care for children.

They are funny because they just say what they are thinking. It is getting al ittle daft now though, these girls need to go back to their normal lives.
