At 14 months old Kate Hudson’s son Bingham is already the spitting image of her.

The actress showed the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree as she carried the tot around Toronto airport today.

With his face close to his 33-year-old mother’s, it was clear for all to see that Bingham has inherited her fair hair and button nose.

Kate and her baby boy were jetting home after being in Canada to attend the Toronto International Film Festival.

The Something Borrowed star had been promoting her upcoming movie The Reluctant Fundamentalist.

After glamming up for a series of events to drum up publicity for the film, Kate was back to doting mother duties today.

She swapped her sexy dresses for a casual stonewashed leather jacket, printed skirt and beige top to travel.

She went make-up free but hid her bare face under a pair of red Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses and scraped her blonde locks into an updo.

Meanwhile little Bingham showed his patriotism for his British heritage with Union Jack booties along with a polo shirt and jeans.

His father Matt Bellamy has spoken out to say he wishes someone had told him how ‘horrible’ births can be.

The Muse frontman was present when his fiancée Kate delivered their son Bingham but he wasn't prepared for just how gory it would be.

He said: ‘I don't understand why no one had warned me about how horrible it would be. The baby's head was weridly elongated when it came out. That freaked me out a bit.’

When he and Kate first took Bingham home, the rocker admits he was ‘petrified’ about his new fatherly responsibilities but he quickly bonded with his baby and learnt what to do.

In an interview with German magazine Gala, he said: ‘I had to learn how to change nappies. It took a while before I got used to it. First I was petrified - I couldn't believe what was happening. You're in this kind of bubble where everything feels really far away.

‘Then you just concentrate on the easy stuff - which I'm not very good at to be honest. But somehow nature makes sure you grow into your role as a father.’

He added: ‘I met Kate and fell in love with her. But the best thing that has happened to me since was becoming a father. Being a father changes so much: the way you look at the world and yourself.

‘There's nothing that's as much fun as a baby - it's endless joy. I'm really happy with everything.’

I love his booties! I wouldn't mind a pair for myself but I doubt they make them in a size 41 :-(

"There's nothing that's as much fun as a baby - it's endless joy" - For THEM it may be, with all their money and round the clock nannies as she pursues her career making movies and promoting films. It is not "endless joy" for the average woman but hard work much of the time on very little sleep.
