Rachel's Zoebots mirror the star stylist's look in ANOTHER Seventies-inspired collection at New York Fashion Week

Rachel Zoe's aesthetic is rooted in the Seventies, and there was no doubting that fact at her New York Fashion Week show today.

The models on the catwalk were the very image of the celebrity stylist, with their blonde centre-parted locks and oversized shades. Even the brunettes appeared to have been given a Zoe-over.

Every one of the looks, too, could have been filched from the designer's closet, from the sequinned tees to the slouchy off-shoulder maxidresses.

Seventies signature: Slouchy off-shoulder maxidresses would look at home in Ms Zoe's own closet

It was a family affair for Ms Zoe, who watched the show from the front row. Husband Rodger Berman looked proud as he watched the models walk the runway.

Later, she was seen sans signature sunglasses spending quality time with adorable son Skyler.

Boho glamour: Verdicts were positive from the press and buyers, good news for the stylist-designer who was fielding rumours last month that her line was not selling

The verdicts were positive from the press and buyers, good news for the stylist-designer who was fielding rumours last month that her line was not selling.

My-wardrobe.com buying director Luisa De Paula told MailOnline: 'Rachel's collection was grown-up glamour with a nod to the Seventies.'

She described her favourite themes as 'shimmering maxis, tunics over trousers, belted blazers and wide brimmed hats'.

Today was apparently celebrity designer day at New York Fashion Week. In addition to Ms Zoe's show was Katie Holmes's Holmes & Yang label and Whitney Port's Whitney Eve.

Also on the jam-packed schedule was Marchesa, Michael Kors and J Mendel, with Proenza Schouler to show later this evening.

I am going to have to go with the women who say her clothes are strangely proportioned and do not fit.

I like her style, very classy although not really original. Most designer's outfits are not wearable in real life but hers are.

Hahahah......it looks like she's holding Roger. He's precious. No one has the 70's down like Rachel. She's a born designer.
