She's always kept details of her private life close to her chest, but Rose McGowan wasn't shy about puckering up to a mystery man after a lunch date in Hollywood yesterday (Thursday).

Dressed head to toe in black, the Charmed star laughed and joked with her dashing male companion and finished off their daytime rendez-vous with a full-on kiss.

While her tall, dark-haired friend was dressed casually in a baggy checked shirt, loose fitting trousers and Nike trainers, Rose went for a more provocative look.

Wearing black heels, a snugly fitting black tank top and thigh-skimming black leather shorts, Rose had the chance to show off her slim figure.

The brunette actress wore her long hair in a loose ponytail on the side, and completed the entire look with a black handbag and big dark sunglasses.

Her dark ensemble was a far cry from yesterday's attire which featured white skinny jeans paired with a black tank top, orange suede stilettos and large handbag while she ran errands in Beverly Hills.

The Hollywood star has had a string of high-profile relationships, but is currently dating new love Davey Detail.

Even though Rose and Davey walked the red carpet at the TCM Classic Film Festival last April and were caught getting cosy at a Gelson's supermarket in L.A. on August 15, she has remained silent about the relationship.

The actress and singer was engaged to Goth rocker Marilyn Manson but ended the relationship in 2001 after three and a half years together.

The star also carried on a well-publicized affair with director Robert Rodriguez, whom she met on the set of the cult film Grindhouse.

Although Rose was snapped looking loved up with her edgy new boyfriend while on a shopping trip only a month ago, he was nowhere to be seen as Rosie hit Hollywood with her new friend.
