Twilight's Jackson Rathbone makes co-star Nikki Reed baby son's godmother

While Kristen Stewart and Rob Pattinson's relationship hangs by a frayed thread in the wake of Kristen's cheating scandal, at least two other Twilight cast members are getting along just fine.

Jackson Rathbone considers Nikki Reed one of the family - and has named her godmother to his baby son, Monroe, just two months old.

The actor-musician, 27, and his girlfriend, Sheila Hafsadi, welcomed their first child in July and on September 12 Jackson tweeted a touching photo of Nikki, 24, holding his son.

'Lil Monroe VI with his Godmother...Adorable!' wrote Jackson.

Nikki, who plays Rosalie the vampire with a chip on her shoulder in the Twilight film series, looks very comfortable cradling a baby.

In the photo, Nikki is simply glowing and wearing a big smile as she gazes down on her sleeping godson.

Jackson, who met girlfriend Sheila while on tour his band 100 Monkeys, has thrown himself completely into fatherhood.

'One of the greatest things I could expect to be in life is a father,' Jackson told Us Weekly after he learned Sheila was expecting. 'I'm very excited!'

Jackson, who plays Rosalie's adoptive brother Jasper, added that his own father has proven invaluable guidance.

'I have one of the greatest dads in the world,' the actor said. 'He's been giving me great advice.'

I am no longer a Twilight fan, but I do still love Nikki Reed and Jackson Rathbone. I met Nikki a few years ago, and she is truly a beautiful person. Jackson made the right choice.

They were both in the same episode of The O.C. back in 2006, so it's possible that they've known each other for a lot longer than the Twilight saga. Either way, it looks like she's going to be an amazing Godmother to his little boy!
