She's been back in the headlines in recent weeks for her friendship with with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

But Rihanna has brought the focus back to a frequent topic of conversation amongst her observers - her risque wardrobe.

Out clubbing in Hollywood on Saturday night, the Barbadian singer, 24, showed some flesh in a revealing little grey dress.

A peep-hole in the side of the mini showed off some thigh, which would have just missed her underwear.

The Rude Boy singer was out at the Eden club with good friend Melissa Forde and a group of friends.

She managed to avoid meeting her ex, who was with friends at The Sayers Club next door.

Her night out comes two weeks after she caused controversy by hugging and appearing to kiss her ex Chris.

The couple split in 2009 after Chris assaulted Rihanna on the way home from a pre-Grammy party in LA. He was later sentenced to five years probation and community service.

Rihanna opened up about her complicated feelings for her ex to Oprah Winfrey last month, calling him 'the love of my life'.

She confirmed they still have a 'very close friendship' and added she felt sympathy for him in the wake of the infamous violent attack that left her in hospital.

She explained: 'I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help.'

'The main thing for me is that he is at peace. I'm not at peace if he is unhappy or he is still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds peace.'
