Rosario Dawson looks great in floral dress as she promotes 10 Years... after revealing she used to wear pajamas to school

She has revealed that she would show up to class in her pajamas.

But Rosario Dawson looked a world away from her scruffy high school appearance today as she attended an event for her new movie 10 Years.

The actress took part in a brunch reunion with the star-studded cast in New York City and stood out in a floral print dress.

Posing during a photo call with her co-stars in the film about a group of friends who realise they still haven't quite grown up in some ways, the night before their high school reunion, she looked great in the pink number mixed with leopard print.

She wore black peep toe heels with the keyhole halter neck frock and accessorised with delicate hoop earrings.

The 33-year-old danced and joked around at the Hotel Chantelle in the Big Apple, with fellow actress Ari Graynor.

The blonde also wore a colourful flower print on her dress and teamed it with red high heels.

Other big names included on and off-screen couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan, who are married in real life.

While Tatum, opted for a black shirt and trousers, his wife looked demure in a monochrome shirt and blue miniskirt.

Tatum stars as Jake, a 28-year-old who brings along girlfriend Jess (Dewan) to meet old friends — and former partner (Dawson) — at his ten year high school reunion.

in real life Rosario admits she didn't make such an effort to look good for her classmates.

She told Latina magazine: 'I didn't brush my hair; I wore platform flip-flops and Converse because I had a height complex.

'I would roll in wearing my pyjamas, just in the nick of time before class started. And that's still me.'

Other screen favourites at the gathering included Kate Mara, who looked ravishing in red as well as men, Anthony Mackie, Brian Geraghty and Scott Porter.
