Time for bed? Motherhood takes its toll on Alicia Silverstone as she films Gods Behaving Badly

With a young child at home there's no mystery as to why Alicia Silverstone might be feeling tired.

The 36-year-old actress was caught out yawning deeply on the set of her latest film Gods Behaving Badly in Chelsea NYC.

Alicia was spotted on set for scene reshoots for the film.

Dressed down for the role, she wore a pair of conservative frames and a simple blue frock, sipping coffee to counter her obvious fatigue.

Co-starring Sharon Stone and Alicia Silverstone, Gods Behaving Badly is a film adaptation of Marie Phillips' best-selling satire novel of the same.

It tells of a young mortal couple, Silverstone and co star Ebon Moss-Bachrach, who encounter a group of Greek gods living in New York City.

The intersection of the Gods and the mortals threatens not only the couple’s budding relationship, but the future of everything else.

Silverstone caused controversy in March this year when a video went viral of her taking a spoonful of food, chewing it, then passing it open-mouthed to her one-year-old son, Bear Blu.

Of the video she wrote on her blog The Kind Life: 'It’s his favorite…and mine. He literally crawls across the room to attack my mouth if I’m eating.'

During the recent during the trial of Russian band Pussy Riot, she wrote a letter to Vladimir Putin asking that vegan meals be made available to all Russian prisoners.

I love that book. It's hilarious. WHY did they have to Americanise it though? What was wrong with keeping it British the way it was written?

Oh for crying out loud why have they Americanised Gods Behaving Badly? Its set in London not New York! Just as bad as an American Becky Bloomwood.

Makeup etc makes such a difference. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with her at all but its noticeable how much of a change there is from the pictures of her in the lingerie article. Just goes to show how most of these people are just like us but with all factors of clothes, makeup & lighting we can look like they do.
