Her job as a movie star requires Alicia Silverstone to travel all over the world.

But the actress makes sure the frequent travel doesn't affect her relationship with her son Bear Blu, taking him along with her.

When the 35-year-old actress had to re-do scenes for her film Gods Behaving Badly on Wednesday, she made sure Bear, 16 months, had a cosy spot in her trailer.

During a break in shooting, Alicia went straight to her trailer to spend quality time with her cute toddler, who happens to look a lot like his father, Chris Jarecki.

But Alicia's husband of seven years wasn't on the set that day so Alicia was in charge of parenting duties.

Alicia was spotted carrying Bear around the Central Park location, pointing out this and that to him, and sometimes talking to the other film stars and crew members.

And she looked just like any other working mother, wearing a tan skirt, brown shirt and green jacket, along with common-sense flats, her long hair tousled.

Bear looked like he was very interested in the surroundings and seemed to enjoy being the center of attention.

Back in April, Alicia introduced Bear to his first Coachella Music Festival in California.

The whole family went to the outdoor concert and Bear even had his own ear phones to protect his ears from the noise.

Earlier this year, Alicia, a proponent of attachment parenting, raised eyebrows when she posted a video of herself chewing Bear's food in her mouth before passing it on to his.

Some health experts warned that this food-swapping practice is unhygenic because it could transmit bacteria and harmful viruses from mother to baby.

Alicia, however, defends her actions: 'People have been feeding their kids that way for thousands for years. It's a weaning process.

'I think it's adorable and it makes me laugh every time he does it.'

The star further added: 'He also knows how to use his hands and he also eats regular food so when babies are weaning, he still breastfeeds. Some people think that's disgusting too which is insane.'
