Heavily pregnant Reese Witherspoon cools down with a refreshing drink as she keeps busy in run-up to birth

She is noticeably on the verge of giving birth to her third child, so every task must take a huge amount of effort anyway.
But clearly eager to stay active throughout her last trimester of pregnancy, Reese Witherspoon had the sweltering California temperatures to cope with also as she ran some errands.
The actress stepped out in the Santa Monica on Friday in the casual attire of a stripy vest top and jeans.

She ensured she was prepared to cope with the sun by donning a fedora hat and sandals on her feet, fashioning dark sunglasses over her eyes.
But her ensemble wasn’t enough to keep the 36-year-old happy in the heat, so she stopped off to grab am icy beverage.
Witherspoon appeared to be avoiding caffeinated and carbonated drinks in favour of ice tea, which she was sipping on before she even left the take-away joint.

Before she had the opportunity to hydrate herself, Reese was evidently uncomfortable as she waddled through the parking lot.
Holding her husband Jim Toth’s hand and carrying a bag in the other, the blonde huffed and puffed as they walked out of the sheltered and shaded garage.
She is already mother to Ava, 13, and Deacon, eight, but her offspring with her actor ex-husband Ryan can expect another sibling at any minute now.

Reese has so far kept quiet over the due date, but going by the size of her bump it looks like she could be welcoming her third child any day now.
A report recently claimed she had been suffering from some bizarre cravings.
A source said: 'Reese has been waking up at 3am and craving seaweed smoothies, pickles and peanut butter all together, plus chicken wings smothered in barbecue sauce.

'In the day, she only wants bananas and strawberry yoghurt – by the litre. She usually sticks to a healthy diet so she's hoping the cravings stop soon.'
The Oscar-winning actress marred Toth last March at her family estate in California, which was watched by several Hollywood stars including Renee Zellweger, Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn.
They started dating in January 2010, shortly after she ended her romance to Jake Gyllenhaal.
Reese's seven year marriage to Phillippe ended in 2006.
