Kean's rule at Rovers appears to be over as Venky's prepare to wield axe

Steve Kean was clinging on to his job as Blackburn Rovers manager again on Sunday night.
Owners Venky’s held a series of talks over the weekend after Friday’s 2-1 home defeat to Middlesbrough left Kean two points short of the 16-point target they had set him from the first seven games - even though Blackburn are second in the Championship.
Under pressure: Fans protested against Kean's management once again on Friday night
On Sunday night, it seemed increasingly unlikely that Venky’s head Anuradha Desai, who spared Kean in December and again when Blackburn were relegated in May, will save him again.
She is set to hand temporary control to Kean’s assistant Eric Black and first-team coach Colin Hendry, although it is understood that talks have also taken place with former Blackburn captain Tim Sherwood. The one-time England midfielder is now on the coaching staff at Tottenham.

Nothing to do with the manager but everything to do with lack of investment in the team, a replacement manager will not do as well as kean, you will see!

Itīs hard to have much sympathy for Steve Kean. His record is simply awful and I feel that a man with more dignity would have resigned long ago. The problem that football has is contracts which make managers cling on with their fingernails for the payout. Being a failed Manager these days in not such a bad thing as there is the lump sum (generally) followed by some other fools offering you a contract at a similar or slightly lower level club and it all starts again.

Honestly took the Blackburn board long enough. They should have listened to their fans since the beginning of the 2011/2012 season!
