Red leather trousers are a hard fashion item to pull off, but Irina Shayk proved she has no problem with the daring look as she stepped out in Paris on Monday.

The Russian beauty was shopping in the French capital, and made sure to show off her supermodel figure in all its glory.

Wearing a pair of daring burgundy leather trousers, teamed with a grey sweater, leather jacket and Isabel Marant high tops, the swimsuit model and long-term girlfriend of Cristiano Ronaldo showed off her enviable figure.

Irina, 26, wrapped her scarf around her face to hide from the cold, as she protected her eyes with dark sunglasses, which also served as a great shield from the paparazzi.

She recently ventured into a new television career, as she announced on her Twitter page earlier this month that she'll be hosting Russia's Next Top Model in her native country.

'I am so happy to be a host of new season Russia s next top model!', she tweeted to her fans.

'Don't forget to watch Russia's next top model every Sunday !kiss from iri.'

She follows in the footsteps of Tyra Banks and Elle Macpherson, among others, who have all taken on the hosting job of the popular model show in their own countries.

The former Sports Illustrated cover girl is the perfect person to coach up-and-coming models, as she has plenty of tips to keep your body trim and swimsuit ready.

'It’s very important to take care of your health,' she said in a recent interview. 

'I work out a lot, love boxing and Pilates, but I also eat healthy food and drink a lot of water.'

'But the most important thing is to be happy and to be in love with your body!'

The model also claims she hasn't achieved her enviable figure by following any strict diets.

'I never really diet. I think that a person can eat what she likes and do some exercises to be in shape - doesn't matter if it's going to be gym or swimming, walking in a park or Pilates.'
