Taking after Gaga? Ke$ha shows off newly voluptuous figure as she goes wild on set of new video

She's not exactly known for covering up, so it was no surprise when US pop wild child Ke$ha donned a series of skimpy outfits for her new video shoot.

The 25-year-old star, known for her party lifestyle, seemed happy to show off her curvier figure as she stripped down to a barely-there costume while filming the video for her new single, Die Young, in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The blonde star, who rose to fame after her first single Tik Tok stormed the charts, seemed to be taking a leaf out of Lady Gaga's book and embracing her curvier body.

The young singer, who's divided critics with her party girl image, decided to go all out for her new video, ahead of the release of her new album, Warrior, in December.

Keeping her trademark long blonde tresses, Ke$ha opted for a revealing black leather body suit, split down to her navel and cut high, revealing her legs.

Paired with black biker boots and a tight belt, clinched in at the waist, the US star looked every inch the pop rebel as she got ready to shoot her scenes.

To add to the effect, the fun-loving star smeared dirt all over her body and made sure that her newly-dyed hair looked tussled as it hung long over her shoulders.

The singer, who's been off of the music radar for a while, was clearly excited about her long overdue comeback and took to Twitter, saying:

'Doin a fancy #dieyoung dance !!!! shooting the video! get pumped !!!!' (sic)

Speaking to The Sun, the pop star revealed that the inspiration for her new album was a number of spiritual experiences that she'd had during her travels:

'The theme of this record is magic. I went on a spirit journey by myself. No security guard. No managers. I just went around the world and lived on a boat,' she told the paper.

'I was in Africa rehabilitating baby lions. I went diving with great white sharks, and just went on this crazy spirit quest.'

Ewww BARF! Not turned on at all by Kesha now, she just looks like some chick that got tossed out of a Biker Bar. She should go back to her old look, IMO it was MUCH better than this "new" look. Then again she may be doing this so she can be an extra of the reboot of the Mad Max saga?!
