List of Combined-Admission Programs

An eight-year B.A./B.S.-M.D. program for exceptionally talented undergraduates. Admission to the REMS program is highly competitive. Enrollment has been limited to ten students each year since its inception in fall of 1991. Students accepted to REMS are also accepted to the School of Medicine and Dentistry upon completion of the bachelor's degree while meeting GPA requirements.
A six-year B.A./B.S.-M.B.A. program for exceptional undergraduates. REBS students enter the University of Rochester with an assurance of admission into the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (located with the College on our river campus) upon successful completion of the bachelor's degree. The program is designed to provide academic enrichment rather than acceleration in preparing undergraduates for their business education and career.
A five-year B.A./B.S.+M.S. in Education program for students admitted to the University of Rochester who are interested in becoming educators. GRADE students enter the University with an assurance of admission to the Margaret Warner Graduate School of Education and Human Development with the Steven Harrison quarter-tuition scholarship for all five years. The program is designed to offer students a quality liberal arts education while also preparing them to become educators.
The GEAR program provides selected students with an assurance of admission into one of eight engineering master's programs at the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences: Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or Technical Entrepreneurship and Management (TEAM).
Some students wish to pursue both a bachelor of music degree at the Eastman School of Music and a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science degree within the College. The fact that Eastman is a school within the University of Rochester makes this possible.
