IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The database is based on my collection of records and the Oz rock bibles Who's Who of Australian Rock - Third Edition (© Chris Spencer & Zbig Nowara, The Five Mile Press 1993) and The Encyclopedia of Australian Rock and Pop (© Ian McFarlane, Allen & Unwin 1999). Pattern for groups' entries

Discography

Albums

Albums and mini-albums officially released under the group's name are
listed here. Even EPs and singles can be listed if they weren't released to
promote a song from an album.
Please note that the difference between EPs and mini-albums is fluent and
that what is listed as an EP in the database might very well be listed as a
mini-album elsewhere.

Pattern:

TITLE   YEAR   TR   Produced by PRODUCER   [Title line]
TYPE   COUNTRY   COMPANY CATALOGUE NUMBER (COMMENTS/information)   [Release line]
Explanations:
Title line:
TITLE    - The title of the album, link to seperate entry.
YEAR     - Year of original release. Also see comments.
TR       - Number of tracks/songs. Also see comments.
PRODUCER - Ranges from producing a full album to co-producing one song.

A Title line in italics denotes a collection of some sort,
either a Greatest Hits, live or a rare tracks collection. Please note
that new songs are often added to Greatest Hits collections. I have
chosen to count all live albums as collections, though I know this
might not always be the case.
Release line:
TYPE             - CD, LP, MC, DAT, MD, EP, Single etc.
COUNTRY          - Country of manufactury of disc.
COMPANY          - The name of the record company.
CATALOGUE NUMBER - The catalogue number for this release.
COMMENTS         - Title, Year of release and number of tracks if different from the
                   original release. Edition, re-release, bonus-record, sleeve etc.

Contribution to album

Unique contributions by the band to a various artists compilation of some sort.
Rare or hard to find material on band related compilation.

Compilation name   Year of release

Entries are listed chronologically according to year of release,
the actual recording might have been carried out in a different order!
Link to the compilation album entry in the database (if any).

Members

Members of the band sorted according to surname.

Pattern:

NAME (INSTRUMENTS) TIME BANDS

Explanations:

NAME        - Surname Firstname
INSTRUMENTS - For a list of abbrevations, see below.
TIME        - The period of time when the artist was a member of the band.
              Beware! There are often contradictory informations regarding
              this matter.
BANDS       - Some other bands, as well recording bands as hobby projects,
              the artist has been/is a member of.
