Any movie buff will tell you that China has some of the cinema's greatest mob movies like John Woo's "Hard Boiled" and Andrew Lau and Alan Mak's "Infernal Affairs," the film that inspired Martin Scorsese's "The Departed". The Super Mario story would fit perfectly into a hard boiled crime story about drugs, corruption and the Triads.
