Crowd boos and walks out on Madonna after she backs Obama at New Orleans concert

Madonna drew boos and triggered a walkout by several concertgoers after she touted President Barack Obama on her 'MDNA Tour' in New Orleans.

The Material Girl asked during Saturday night's performance, 'Who's registered to vote?' adding: 'I don't care who you vote for as long as you vote for Obama.'

Drawing boos in touting Obama over Republican Mitt Romney, Madonna followed: 'Seriously, I don't care who you vote for ... Do not take this privilege for granted. Go vote.'

Madonna is often outspoken with previous performances featuring political rallying and controversial gestures.

Just last month at a concert in Washington, D.C. Madonna offered a similar pro-Obama speech to fans but with her endorsement called him 'the black Muslim in the White House.'

'So y'all better vote for f***ing Obama, okay? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House, okay? Now that is some s***. That’s some amazing sh***,' she said.

It is uncertain whether Madonna truly believes Obama, who is a practicing Christian, is a Muslim - or if she was simply poking fun at the numerous Americans who think he is.

'It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, okay? So support the man, goddammit!' she said.

At another concert in Colorado, some Denver fans, mindful of a mass shooting there, complained she used a fake gun to shoot a masked gunman during her act.

A Madonna concert in Paris in July also drew ire when a video showed a swastika on a politician's forehead.

"Crowd boos and walks out on Madonna" -- don't understand why they went in the first place. She's all "shock" and little else lately.

She's so annoying. Wish she would just disappear. No one wants to see an old lady trying to act like a young teen.
