Calvin Harris and Lady Gaga became embroiled in a war of words after the Scottish DJ angered the music superstar following claims he refused to work with her.
Harris, 28, said that he was asked to work on her album in 2008, but refused after admitting he wasn't impressed with the tracks.
However, the Born This Way hitmaker hit back at the claims, promoting her fans to barrage the DJ's twitter account.
Hitting out: Calvin Harris and Lady Gaga became involved in a war of words after her angered the music superstar following claims he refused to work with her
Harris told BBC Breakfast on Monday: 'You've got to pick people whose songs or voice you like. I didn't like the songs... they didn't send me any of the big songs.'
And when he was asked if he regretted turning down chance to work with Lady Gaga, he replied: 'No, no, no.'
Gaga hit back however, tweeting: 'Never even emailed you @calvinharris I
guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I
don't know about EDM right?'
However, Harris was quick to reply - writing: '@ladygaga no your label emailed me. I always make sure I say Im a fan when asked about it, I apologise if I offended u, wasn't the intention.'
Angry fans: Gaga's followers hit out at Calvin over his comments - prompting him to tweet: 'The illuminati's after me'
And the drama seem to have ended after they kissed and made up in the cyber world.
Lady Gaga wrote: '@CalvinHarris thanks for the apology &explaining. My apologies too. Congratulations on your album. Wish you well. Cheers.'
But the drama wasn't quite over - with Harris tweeting afterwards: 'Jeez you turn down one remix in 2008 and next thing the whole world's on your back. The illuminati's after me lol. Never mind I'll just keep making tracks.'
Hitting back: Lady Gaga certainly didn't hold back as she denied emailing Calvin Harris
It's not the first time he has angered female singers.
He was furious after Rita Ora claimed she had first refusal on the Harris penned track Call My Name - which became a Cheryl Cole hit.
He tweeted: “For the record, 'Call My Name' was never given to Rita Ora to sing...she made that up, don’t know why.'
He also cancelled a chance to tour with Katy Perry, claiming he had no choice.
Upsetting the Little Monsters: It would seem Calvin's comments had upset Gaga's army of fans
He wrote on Twitter: 'I was to appear on stage with no production. Trust me you would have been more disappointed seeing the show than u are with me cancelling.'
Perry responded: 'Funny the goalpost seems to be perfectly fine for New Young Pony Club, Yelle, Robyn, Marina & the Diamonds to name a few... or how bout Janelle Monae and her 16-piece band.'
