Flightglobal Achievement Awards 2010 logoWelcome to the Flightglobal Achievement Awards

We are delighted to be launching the second Flightglobal Achievement Awards, our annual search for the most admired individuals in aviation and aerospace.

Last year, at a ceremony at the Dubai air show, Hudson hero Capt Chesley Sullenberger, Virgin’s Sir Richard Branson and father of the Global Hawk Bob Mitchell were voted Aviator, Innovator and Leader of the Year, respectively.

Who will follow in their footsteps in 2010?
This is your chance to nominate your heroes of the past 12 months in these three categories ― Leader of the Year, Aviator of the Year and Innovator of the Year. We have also introduced a new award this year, for Lifetime Achievement.

From your nominations, we will draw up a shortlist and following that, you will have the chance to vote for the winners.

Your last chance to recognise the great and good in aviation, the deadline for voting has been extended until 20th June 2010.

Making a nomination could not be easier. Simply fill in the nomination form explaining the reasons behind your choice in no more than 300 words. Include any relevant web links.

Once again, as part of the Awards, we will also be naming the Boeing Engineering Student of the Year. Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by their professors. To enter this category or to view the entry criteria, click here or on the separate icon above.
