Dress code said Halloween... not porn queen! Gaga exposes her chest in barely-there marijuana costume

She's famous for wearing kooky and revealing outfits all year round.

So Lady Gaga has to push the boat out when it comes to choosing an ensemble for Halloween.

And this year was no different, as the 26-year-old singer wore an incredibly daring costume to celebrate the spooky holiday.

Gaga wore a green tutu-skirt with a long fluro wig as she partied with her personal make-up artist Tara Savelo dressed controversially as a marijuana plant.

And obviously revelling in her outfit, she wrote on her Twitter page: 'So i was weed for halloween. BEST COSTUME EVER ITS SO FUN. Princess High the Cannabis Queen.'

However, despite the make-shift bra, Gaga's ensemble was still one of the most revealing of this year's celebrity Halloween costumes.

The barely-there outfit comes after Gaga caused controversy earlier this year when pictures emerged of her on stage looking bigger than she has previously.

But speaking to Stylist magazine this week about the photographs, Gaga said she 'didn't care' about the comments on her weight because she is proud to be a role model to women of all sizes.

She said: I was acutely aware of some photos on the internet - my mum called me and was like, "Did you gain weight?" - everybody was telling me about it, and I didn't really care.

'But when I heard it was on the news, where they talk about wars, the economy crashing and the election – I just thought, "This is f***ng ridiculous." I mean, what kind of example is that to a young girl sitting at home? I thought, well I don’t really care if they think I’m fat, because, quite honestly, I did gain about 30 pounds.'

Happy Highlaween! Lady Gaga posted this photograph on her online blog and controversially wrote on Twitter how she enjoyed dressing as 'Princess High the Cannabis Queen'

Gaga added: 'Adele is bigger than me, how come nobody says anything about it? She’s so wonderful and I think her confidence is something I have to match.

'She has set the bar very high for a lot of woman. I need to be a confident woman and just say politically active things when I can that are helpful to young people.'

And Gaga looked nothing less than uber-confident as she enjoyed her Halloween celebrations on Wednesday night.

Lol, Rihanna would never dress like this, but she is being insulted with all sorts of nasty names. It's ok for Gaga, just because she's Gaga isn't it? The hypocrisy and jealousy of most of you never ceases to amaze me
