New mother Drew Barrymore was back to her casual self after an ultra glamorous red carpet appearance... just one month after she had her baby daughter.

The 50 First Dates star was spotted out shopping for furniture with new husband Will Kopelman in Hollywood on Friday - nesting maybe, since the birth of little Olive.

She looked a far cry from the polished and camera-ready figure she cut on Saturday at the star-studded LACMA Art and Film Gala...but being a new mother may mean she has more important things than her appearance to worry about.

The 37-year-old actress was dressed down and for comfort in loose blue jeans and a baggy grey T-shirt.

But Barrymore still looked on-trend with her battered brown biker boots.

Her wacky sunglasses completed the look and she wore her brunette hair down, while carrying what appears to be a blanket.

Barrymore also seemed to be make-up free and looked remarkably fresh considering she's now looking after a newborn baby.

The couple appeared in good spirits and like they were enjoying some quality time together while their tot was at home.

Husband Will, 34, an art consultant, was laughing and joking with his famous wife and was dressed equally casually in jeans and a T-shirt.

However the couple couldn't have looked more different last Saturday night.

Barrymore positively glowed at the LACMA event as she posed for photographs.

The star was clad in a loose-fitting black dress which covered her post-baby body, as well as matching leggings.

Splashes of colour in her ensemble came in the form of strappy indigo sandals and cherry red lipstick.

The Big Miracle actress also used the lavish event as an opportunity to catch up with her A-list pals – and gush about her baby daughter.

Drew seemed particularly pleased to be reunited with Jennifer Aniston, and she let out a little squeal as she grasped both of her friend’s arms and said hello.

It wasn’t long before Drew and her beau were whipping out baby photos from their family album for Jennifer and her fiancé Justin Theroux.

As Will held his phone, Jennifer and Justin cooed over the sweet snaps – and Jennifer, who was glamorous in a plunging black dress, in particular looked entranced by the images.

The birth of baby Olive on August 26 was announced by Drew and Will in a joint statement.

The couple said: 'We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26, healthy, happy, and welcomed by the whole family.'

Drew and Will began dating in early 2011 and announced their engagement a year later.

They wed on June 2 of this year at her Montecito, California home, with a gathering of close friends and family in attendance.
