Baby love! Sarah Jessica Parker's twin girls are quite the little mothers as they push their dolls along in matching strollers

They may only be three-years-old, but Sarah Jessica Parker's twin girls enjoyed playing little mothers on Friday.

Tabitha and Marion enjoyed pushing their baby dolls in matching pretty pink strollers as they joined their famous parents for lunch.

Their famous mother wrapped up warm in a grey coat, jeans and a blue knitted cap in the wake of superstorm Sandy.

She even ditched her usual high heels in favour of sensible boots, which surely came in useful as she carried sleepy Marion later.

Husband Matthew Broderick sported a bright blue padded jacket, jeans and trainers as he escorted his young family to a Manhattan restaurant.

The 50-year-old actor is currently starring in Nice Work If You Can Get It on Broadway.

The girls were dressed as stylishly as anyone would expect, with a well known fashionista as a mother - Tabitha sported a pale coat over a floral dress and cropped trousers.

Marion wore a pale coat with fut trim and perry shoes with pom pom detail.

There was no sign of their older brother James Wilkie on the family outing.

According to Deadline, the LA Story star just joined the cast of Mixtape, a music-based comedy about a girl who accidentally destroys a mix tape that belonged to her deceased mother.

Sarah Jessica is scheduled to begin filming her role as the girl's aunt and caretaker next February.

The star has two films scheduled for release next year - romantic comedy Married and Cheating with Eva Longoria and she lends her voice to the animated comedy Escape from the Planet Earth.

MINNIE MOUSE - MANCHESTER- She was 44 when trying to conceive which is quite old for most women, so that's why she was finding it hard to conceive, she give birth and carried her son at the age of 37. I am no attacking her as a person, all I am saying it why not try IVF yourself to carry your children instead of using a surrogate and filming Did You Hear About The Morgans? - IBeStacey, Middlesbrough, United Kingdom, 3/11/2012 19:42 ////////////Of course you're attacking her as a person, you basically implied she's too vain or interested in her career to carry a child herself! She may have already tried and failed IVF for all you know. Can't see what difference it makes anyway, whether she had IVF or used a surrogate, it's her business and she's not hurting anyone else.

I cannot believe that people will stoop so low as to snap pictures of little kids who are clearly upset by the attention. They didn't sign up for this. We are all part of the market of demand; if we did not exist neither would the photos! Yes, just by going to the Showbiz section, we are all spectators, it's not only those who buy a tabloid at the market. There are counters on web pages to let DM (and advertisers) know how popular these sites are and where to spend their money. We are the bottom line here - why is that so hard to admit?

New York use to be very indifferent towards celebrities. They could walk around and not be bothered. Now it's almost as big as a carnival as LA. How disappointing.

If you enjoy being on the front page of some magazine promoting your series every second day, you might as well live with the fact that fotos are taken on the streets, too. There are plenty of celebrities who protect their children, and we never came to see them during their childhood- so I don't think they need to be pitied.
