She's always known how to ride out a storm, so it perhaps comes as no real surprise that Brandi Glanville is a dab hand at taking on a wave.

The California girl - Glanville was born in Salinas in the northern area of the state - threw herself into an afternoon surfing in the Pacific Ocean... and put the rip(ped) into curl.

The ex-wife of LeAnn Rimes genetically blessed but career challenged actor husband, Eddie Cibrian, looked glorious in an itsy bitsy gingham bikini.

Mother-of-two Brandi, 39, was cooling off from the endless LA heatwave; which has seen temperatures in the city reaching the 90s even this month.

Brandi needs to cool off in more ways than one, as she finds it difficult to bond with her castmates on the hit Bravo show.

She even soured a burgeoning friendship with British bombshell Lisa Vanderpump after revealing the pair bonded by 'making out.'

In a preview from season three obtained by Radar Online, Brandi is seen spilling the beans about their kiss during a night out with new housewife, Yolanda Hadid at Lisa's SUR restaurant and bar.

Lisa, 52, was explaining how Brandi wasn't in a good place with the rest of the girls at the end of season two when Eddie's ex made the bombshell confession.

The season premiere airs on Bravo Monday, November 5 at 9/8c.

That looks ridiculous. It is clearly WAY too small. I understand when other stars do that and their bikinis are too small but hers just looks stupid. Its like shes wearing a kids swimsuit.
