While many celebrities pay top dollar for the services of a burly bodyguard, Gwen Stefani went one step further.
The rock star was protected by her very own superhero as her little son Zuma dressed up as Batman, on Sunday afternoon.
Gwen, 43, was seen leaving her London hotel as she made her way to the X Factor studios ahead of her performance on the show.

The No Doubt band member was led by four-year-old Zuma who looked super cute as the caped crusader.
Zuma was wearing a Batman raincoat and was fully embracing his role as the Dark Knight as he took his mother by the hand.
Gwen was happy to let her son play around as she and the rest of the band walked behind him dressed for the wet weather.

No Doubt will perform their latest single, Looking Hot, on Sunday night's X Factor results show after having come under fire for the music video.
The video showed Gwen dressed as a Native American Squaw, tied up by cowboys and cavorting with a wolf.

But now the video for Looking Hot has been taken down from You Tube, after complaints from fans and the Native American community.
The group apologised on their website to anyone who may have been offended, stating: 'Being hurtful to anyone is simply not who we are.'
They added: 'As a multi-racial band our foundation is built upon both diversity and consideration for other cultures.
Held at gunpoint: Gwen seems fairly calm and composed, given her predicament
Hands up: Gwen is left with her hands up, literally by other members of the band by a dusty outbuilding
'Our intention with our new video was never to offend, hurt or trivialize Native American people, their culture or their history.
'Although we consulted with Native American friends and Native American studies experts at the University of California, we realize now that we have offended people.
'This is of great concern to us and we are removing the video immediately.'
