Back on track! Rebel Wilson hikes in purple lycra in a bid to shift the pounds after falling off her Jenny Craig diet

She is a spokesperson for Jenny Craig in her native Australia.

And after shedding an impressive 33lbs, Rebel Wilson fell off her diet and piled on the pounds once again.

But it seems the Pitch Perfect star is determined to get it right this time and was spotted getting some exercise in on Friday.

The actress and comedienne headed to Griffith Park in Los Angeles where she hiked her way up to the iconic Griffith Observatory.

The 26-year-old revealed her voluptuous figure in a pair of eye-catching purple lycra workout leggings.

She teamed the loud legwear with a grey T-shirt that had the words ‘Smoke ‘Em’ splashed across it, which she wore under a white shirt.

Rebel also sported a LSU baseball cap and sunglasses to keep herself shielded from the sun’s rays.

She has been cranking up her exercise regime of late in an attempt to speed up her weight loss.

The star signed up to Jenny Craig as a spokesperson in a bid to drop 55lbs, but had to put her diet on hold last year while filming Pitch Perfect.

Her contract stated that she had to stay the same weight throughout shooting of the comedy film.

Rebel then revealed a trimmer figure in August after shifting 33lbs, but admitted last month that she had fallen off her diet.

The actress took to Twitter to reveal that she gorged on free cupcakes right before her appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in early October.

Later that month she tweeted: ‘Here's what I've done today: 1. Pancakes ..that's it,’ two days after posting the message: ‘I saw a sign that just said NUTELLA with an arrow. So I followed it.’

However despite her love of food Rebel now seems to be getting back on track with regular workouts.

hardly impressive weight loss looking at the size of her, i lost 3 stone this year to get to my goal that was very hard she still looks like she has at least 8 stone to go
