He has so much money he could treat his latest squeeze to any indulgence her heart desires.

So it is perhaps refreshing that banking heir James Rothschild decided to take his darling Nicky Hilton to see a movie in New York on Saturday.

The younger sister of notorious socialite Paris looked excited as she walked arm-in-arm with the dishy billionaire-in-waiting, and was no doubt looking forward to enjoying the latest blockbuster.

The 29-year-old hotel heiress looked fresh faced and virtually make-up free as they enjoyed the chilly November weather in the Big Apple.

She wore a trendy leather jacket, black leggings and flat shoes, though she cunningly brightened up her ensemble with leopard print accessories.

The jug-eared Englishman meanwhile dressed down in a winter jacket, crumpled looking jeans and black trainers.

The well-heeled couple have been keeping a low-profile since they got together after meeting at Petra Ecclestone’s wedding in Italy last year.

However they were spotted discussing their future over a plate of egg and chips at the Windsor Pub in Kensington in May.

A source at the time said: 'They are sick of being in a long-distance relationship so they have decided to move in together.

'They are leaning towards living in Britain but although they have been looking in the windows of estate agents in Notting Hill, they haven’t put in any offers.

'James has quietly let it be known to friends that he’ll be on the hunt for an engagement ring soon, too.’
