@(Unverified) PC often equals wrestling with my goddamn games when all I wanted to do was sit down and play. There's a lot to recommend about PC games, but this rampant fanboyism is getting ridiculous.

Step 1: Install Steam
Step 2: Buy the Game
Step 3: Download the Game
Step 4: PLAY THE GAME

I guess a 4 step process is to hard for console player * shrugs *

I guess treating others with respect is "to" hard for some people * shrugs *

Plenty of people have issues with games on PCs...Even with Steam.

Games perform differently on different video cards, drivers for said video cards, and a host of other reasons.

Are you this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCEQZ_4V7NY

If you can't figure out how to operate Steam then you are beyond any help.

Oh please. Stop holding yourself above "console players" just because you're anal enough to make sure you have the best hardware at all times. Not everyone who plays on PC wants to or can do that.

So no, it isn't a four step process for everyone. One problem is that of hardware, and another is that sometimes (seems like most of the time these days), developers put out poorly optimized PC ports. If your problem is one or the other, you'll be spending some time getting it to work properly. Don't even get me started on DRM, since only a fraction of PC games out there use Steamworks.

So please, save this "PC master race" bullshit. PC gamers have a hard enough time getting developers and publishers to actually listen to us without snobs like you pretending that you're entitled to games because you think your platform is the best.

In some ways, it is. In others, it isn't. That was the entire point of my comment. It's good to see that reading comprehension is alive and well.

''because you think your platform is the best. ''

Here is the thing. It is the best and your shitty made up excuses won't change that fact.

@Heffer Wolfe I'll save you the trouble. 4 GB DDR3 RAM, ATI Radeon 5770, AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE, any compatible motherboard, 600 watt psu. Will run you the price of launch consoles, but will play any game better, and will still be useful for the new console ports judging by specs that's been released so far.

That's because Rovio are a bunch of egomaniacs. Trendy has been pretty good to it's customer base so far. Though Barbarian is a bit pricey for only one character compared to the Heroes pack, and he's in serious need of some fixing, his stances aren't very good, and can't come anywhere near Huntress or Apprentice dps.

@Jennacide I think the Barbarian is fine. His stances are pretty good IMO. If specced properly he can do any job. But he's more a jack-of-all-trades, so he'll never be better than any other hero.

I've been speccin mine to be a hybrid, focusing more in hero stats than stance stats. At lvl 45 i've been tanking waves of insane mobs in turtle stance, while my other lvl 70ish companions can't. I can't wait to reach lvl 74 and see what this beast is capable of.

On the other hand, he can't solo. Too slow for that, even at 100 speed.

"Trendy has been pretty good to it's customer base so far."

You mean their *PC* customer base. For console players, they're either screwing us or ignoring us.

You messed up big time, Trendy. DD is fun as hell, but your customer service/relations and "business concerns" are way the hell out of whack ("technical limitations" my ass), and it's going to take a lot of convincing to ever get me to consider buying one of your games again.

I really like this game (and bought it for LIVE) but I find the diffuculty makes no sense, and needs fixing. I shouldn't be getting ganked when playing a level on easy, regardless if its solo or co-op.

If you're losing on Easy, you really need some better gear.

@Vannos That depends on which class you're playing, what's your build and what gear do you have.

If you're playing say, huntress or monk, you'll have a hard time if you don't know how to play. If you're playing a squire or apprentice, focus on towers to make your leveling easier. Also, remember that you can have a hero build your defenses and then switch to another to do combat.

this gamehas some hardware issues, but normaly it can run on a 3 year old system.

what fixed it for me was deinstalling all those crappy tools and extrastuff that were on my graphics card driver disc.

good game btw but it somehow cannot motivate me into playing it too hardcore.

What a great game! My friends, and I, have invested large amounts of time into the 360 version. I am happy for Trendy.
