'Hopefully it won't taint it': Ashley Greene speaks out about Kristen Stewart affair... and its possible effect on last Twilight film

The Twilight crew have stayed largely - and loyally - silent ever since their two biggest stars split up in the aftermath of the discovery of Kristen Stewart's fling with a married director.

But now, with Robert Pattinson smiling again and firmly reunited with his contrite paramour... Ashley Greene has spoken out about the scandal.

In an interview with Seventeen magazine, Greene, 25, who plays vampire Alice Cullen, in the Twilight franchise, said of the conflict: 'Hopefully it won't taint it and people will still be able to enjoy the movie.'

Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released on Friday, so she will soon get her chance to find out.

But all that could wait while she shot a fun and games shoot for the December/January issue of the magazine.

The actress posed in Lela Rose dress for the Kenneth Willardt while opening up about other sensitive matters; like her relationships with famous exes Joe Jonas and Broadway Spider-Man star Reeve Carney.

She said: 'I certainly have [been in love.] I can still love an ex as a person, regardless if the breakup was bad.

'I would never wish anything negative on them. It takes more energy to hate them than to wish them well.'

She also revealed how the Twilight cast surprised their director by performing a dance off.

She said: 'We secretly coordinated a surprise dance-off during a scene! We were all in on it, but [the director] Bill Condon didn’t know.

[All the vampires] were supposed to charge at each other and destroy each other, and instead we just started dancing! Everyone did it - the Cullen clan and probably 20 vampire extras! It was such an amazing way to end it all.'

She also shared her wishlist for the next ten years, explaining: 'Ideally my career will be extremely stable.

'I really don’t want to be here for a minute and then gone the next. In five years I wouldn’t be opposed to having a husband and thinking about kids. Okay, maybe 10 years for that! And I want to win an Oscar or an Emmy.'

In an interview it is hard to avoid question about other people affairs especially they worked together, she did not mention about Kristen love life, only gently supportive! I don't understand the negative comments about her, she an actress and earned her own status, like everyone else of Twilight cast. It's seem people have a lot more support to Kristen and Rob - knowing that their love life is more famous than they are ! Kristen affairs is knowing worldwide, and all is forgiven for Twilight sake, if people that open minded about the two main characters, then how come Ashley got knock down for being a normal decent person?

There's something about this girl thats just off, she's pretty no doubt...but it just seems as if she leaches off people for fame...all her ex boyfriends she dated when they were at the height of their career...just saying...

I'm no Kristin Stewart fan by a long shot, but please - she's a talent goldmine next to this vapid waste of oxygen. "I hope she didn't taint it?" I bet you do - because this is the biggest you'll ever be, and you've been disappointed ever since the other two kissed and made up. MUST we have yet another article on this ad-example loser? The only thing less interesting are the Kardashians. Royalty? Fab. You can have them too.
