Never one to miss a trend! Madonna invites PSY for Gangnam Style duet on stage in New York

PSY is the biggest thing is music right now as his hit song Gangnam Style continues to sweep the globe.

So it was only a matter of time before Madonna wanted a piece of Gangnam action.

The Material Girl invited the South Korean pop sensation to join her on stage in New York on Tuesday night for the latest gig in her MDNA World Tour.

The singer told the 20,000-strong crowd she had a special guest who had flown at the way from Frankfurt, Germany that morning.

Of course, fans of PSY will know he was in Germany to attend the MTV Europe Music Awards, where he won Best Video.

Madonna told her fans she was a big fan of PSY and loved his red trouser suit.

The pair then sang the No.1 hit as well as perform the horsey dance from the video.

At one point, Madonna shaked her backside at him and climbed on his back and rode him like a pony.

The pair then went on to duet on her own song Music.

During the gig, Madonna also asked fans to donate money to help New Yorkers affected by Superstorm Sandy.

On Monday night, she ended up raising $3,000 by asking the same.

Madonna is the latest in a list of stars to perform Gangnam Style alongside Psy.

On Sunday night, supermodel Heidi Klum performed the dance with the South Korean pop star during the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Over the past few months, Britney Spears and Melanie B have also been among those who have joined Psy for a rendition of his dance.

54 is not old ! why should madonna stop and dress in a cardigan just because she is in her 50's. madonna is showing woman can still be sexy when they reach 50! She is amazing ! MDNA is in the top 10 for the biggest selling album of 2012 and the tour is a sell out ! Queen forever ! :)

So what? No on is hurting anyone, just let them be. Why do some people have to be so mealy-mouthed about other people. Does it make you feel better to sit in judgement, granting or denying your consent for how others live their lives. And, you know who you are, you're the one reaching for the red arrow.

I used to like her, but after entering her fifties she became more and more desperate. She was sort of a trendsetter back than. Now she is old, pathetic and mental.

Hmm, you don't see the really talented artists having to resort to skimpy costumes, vulgar antics and mindless inane comments to get attention. I'm surprised that Child Protective Services haven'e been called on her before now, having her 12 year old son at her concerts witnessing such trashy behavior from his mother. She's a desperate attention getter, trashy, mediocre talented low life.
