Justin Bieber seems to be making a habit of run-ins with the police after the teen star was brought to a halt again by the long arm of the law.

Bieber was stopped by police while at the wheel of a white Ferrari on Tuesday night after making an 'unsafe left turn.'

And after the officer inspected his documentation, it was allegedly discovered that his registration had expired and he was given a ticket reported TMZ.

It is the second time the young star has been given a ticket this year.

Justin was allegedly driving through West Hollywood with friend in the early evening when an LA County Sheriff flagged him down.

Bieber even posted a picture on Instagram showing the police car's flashing lights.

Sources told the website Justin, 18, was cooperative while the police examined his documentation.

The Baby singer has already amassed a fleet of supercars.

In July he was charged with speeding on a Los Angeles freeway, and local politician and former police officer Dennis Zine, who witnessed his  driving, estimated that he was going over 100mph.

He told TMZ: 'This was very bizarre, very outrageous and showed a total disregard for life and property.'

However, Bieber explained in a call to emergency services: 'I was driving fast so that I could try to get away from them and I got pulled over myself,' he said.

'When I explained to the police officers, they were being, like, not nice about it.'

That incident was in his chrome-plated Fisker Karma car, rather than the Ferrari.

It's unclear what law the young star allegedly broke but it's clear that Bieber's luck is running out after a week in which he is coming to terms with a messy break-up.

Spring Breakers star Selena Gomez broke up with the pop sensation amid speculation about his relationship with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, 19.

The two were photographed together after the 18-year-old performed at the underwear brand's fashion show last week. They later went on a date to watch The Lion King on Broadway.

Victoria was immediately targeted by Bieber's enraged fans, but the 19-year-old denied any romance.

'Hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!! :) please :)' she wrote.

Meanwhile, while Justin and Selena are both currently in New York they have not been seen together, although they have reportedly met to talk about their future.

According to sources, Bieber wants Selena back and believes their split is just a temporary 'blip.'

A source told Mail Online over the weekend: 'Whatever happens they have a lot to talk about.

'Their schedules have been packed but... she's keen to talk and so is he.'

Why is it if a non celebrity got caught doing 100mph theres a chance of imprisonment, at very least a ban and hefty fine. If a celeb is caught doing it no punishment?? ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!!!!!

I am surprised the "little boy" was able to see over the dashboard!! He posted a picture showing the Police car's flashing lights?? .That shows how immature he really is. I understand that a few weeks ago he stated that he had turned into a man??, Really????

An 18 year old novice driver should not be allowed behind the wheel of a Ferrari. Most 18 year olds can't control a Ford Fiesta let alone a 500hp supercar. Just think of the injury he could have caused. This boy is SO stupid it beggars belief!!

He'll be like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan when he hits his 20s. It's crazy how money can change people.

He's got a Ferrari.....his ego must be enormous. Too scary to think how things will turn out for him when he hits his 30s.

He just got a 20k Ducati. Scooter needs to sit him down and have a talk before something bad happens. I know he is young and having fun, but dying isn't fun.
