Elvish: Megan Fox plays the star of a hit sci-fi series called Plutopia as she guest stars on her husband's show The Wedding Band
The TBS series, which premiered on Saturday, sees the former 90210 star playing Tommy, the lead singer of a wedding band called Mother of the Bride.
In second episode of the new comedy, Tommy meets sexy leather-clad, Alexa, played by Megan, when his band plays at a fantasy fiction-themed wedding where everyone speaks Elvish.
But there is no hope of an on-screen romance: 'He never evolved, he's a permanent 17-year-old,' Green told the Los Angeles Times.
Sharing the screen: The couple first met on the set of a TV show 8 years ago
Megan shot to fame in 2007 after appearing in the blockbuster Transformer.
But her career took a nose dive after she was famously fired from the third Transformers film for making controversial comments about series director Michael Bay
Fox allegedly likened Bay to Hitler and was swiftly replaced with English actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon
Typecast: Megan seems to still be playing a 16-year-old boy's fantasy
Wedding singer: Brian performs all his own songs on the new show
Fox’s Transformers costar Shia LaBeouf gave his take on the controversy, saying that Fox was uncomfortable with the way Bay’s films portrayed women.
'Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality,' LaBeuof told the Los Angeles Times last summer. 'It’s Michael’s style. And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it.'
But in the clip, Megan seems to be playing another sex symbol as she is wearing a leather bustier and star of a hit sci-fi series called Plutopia.
Hide the baby bump: Megan managed to keep her growing tummy largely hidden during her pregnancy
The couple, who married in a private ceremony in Hawaii in 2010, welcomed their first child together into the world last month.
Announcing the birth on Facebook, Megan
admitted she and Brian were grateful for having a 'peaceful few weeks'
with their son before telling the world of his arrival.
She wrote: 'We have been very lucky
to have had a peaceful few weeks at home, but I would like to release
this myself before others do. I gave birth to our son Noah Shannon Green
on September 27th. He is healthy, happy, and perfect.
Green also has a son Kassius ,10, from a past relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo
