Bizzare Studio shut down after Blur didn't sell so well and now Propaganda Games are shut down after Tron: Evolution game stayed on shelves (it's a game off the movie, what do you expect?).

it's pretty clear to all that if ur game don't sell then your studio may be on the chopping block!

@12thSAGEofGAMING

Well... Blur was a LOT more competent than Tron Evo. I remember a boss fight in that game where the boss just stopped moving and let me kill him for 10 minutes

@GamingColt

i had a good laugh with the demo. screen reduced to a small black-and-white oval, desperately rolling nonstop to try and keep from being eaten by raptors.

Their Turok re-make was the only game I quit playing because I was too disgusted to power through.

Knifing dinos in the face was the game's only saving grace.

This is exactly right. I've only ever traded in one game, and Turok happened to be that game. Killing dinos was great, killing people, not so great. MP was horrible as well.

I'm the only one who liked Tron Evolution.

I'm also the only one who's really upset about this.

The Turok remake was definitely underrated. It wasn't Half-Life or anything, but I finished it and thoroughly enjoyed it (as well as the challenging and fun co-op mode). A real shame as I was hoping for (though not necessarily expecting) a sequel to it.

I had a chance to talk to some of the people working there when Turok launched and they seemed really passionate about what they were doing. All the best to everyone who worked there.

I kind of liked Tron Evolution, It had it's pretty cool moments. If anyone would have bothered to pick it up, they would see that the multiplayer is amazing! Oh well though, Atleast that greedy Disney company got them to complete the rest of the newest project they were working on before firing them, right?

Turok and Tron are both totally serviceable. It's a shame more talented studios close their doors before the likes of studios like Data Design Interactive.

Man this sucks, I never got my Turok 2.
I know most disliked turok but I loved it.
It's the best Dinosaur game this gen (Yeah I know that's not saying a lot)
But it's one of the few games where I was able to look past flaws and have fun with it. even got the 1000G in it

Unlike a certain Blur and Project Gotham developer being shutdown by Activision *nod wink etc* The products these guys have put out do more to justify their closing than Bizzare. It still sucks, but I can understand shutting down a studio whose put out a couple games, and had one canceled, that were flops critically and commercially.
