Enjoying some retail therapy: Erin Heatherton looks relaxed on Beverly Hills shopping trip weeks after split from Leonardo DiCaprio

She split from Leonardo DiCaprio after 10 months together a few short weeks ago.

But Erin Heatherton looked far from lovesick as she stepped out in Beverly Hills on Saturday for some retail therapy.

The 23-year-old model - who broke up with the 37-year-old Inception actor earlier this month - was dressed down in skinny jeans and a faded T-shirt for a spot of shopping at Barneys New York.

Erin recently said she is looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with her family after splitting from Leo.

The blonde beauty is also happy she can relax her diet during the holiday on Thursday now that the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is over.

She told Modelina: 'I'm going to be with my family, in Chicago. We always go to my aunt's house.'

'She's like the Martha Stewart of the family,' Erin mused. 'She can cook anything and she has the most beautiful sons.

'One of her sons, Jordan Stein, is actually in Afghanistan and I send him all my love. They just have a beautiful family and we all just get together and its just very warm and cozy,' she said.

'I have the most amazing family: my sister Megan, my brother jeff and my parents who are here to support me.'

Erin and Leo broke up after 10 months together amid reports he didn't want to settle down and they struggled to see each other because of their busy schedules.

The stunning model previously insisted she is doing fine after their break-up.

She said: 'I'm having the best time right now. I couldn't feel more beautiful with all my friends. It's wonderful.'

Erin's best friend Lily Aldridge, 26, also confirmed she is doing fine and thinks it won't be long before she is dating someone else.

She said: 'I don't think Erin's gonna have any problems getting a man. I'm pretty sure there's a line around New York City waiting for her. Every guy I know is like, "Please introduce me to Erin!"'

Leonardo, who recently admitted he hasn't met the love of his life yet, has wasted no time since the split and was spotted flirting with a string of models at a number of parties in New York.

Why do people insist on "settling down?" I've never understood it. Does anyone really need a government-endorsed contract called "marriage" to have a meaningful relationship? Either you love each other or you don't. A government license isn't going to keep you together or keep you away from one another. All marriage means is that, if there's a breakup, then one party gets to loot the other's bank account. I don't blame Leo. If I were him, I'd date who I wanted to and for as long as I wanted to without any pressure as to when and if I decided to marry anyone. It's not like the guy will ever hurt for dates. There's another 23 year old model out there just waiting for him to ask her out.

I have always thought she is the prettiest angel. These pictures do little to dispel that. It looks like she picked random clothes out of the hamper, and she makes it look like a cat walk. Oh well...Single men should never look at pictures like this. I'll be set up this weekend and end up thinking, "nice...but not Erin Heatherton." I'm ruined for a month now.

If the rumors about Leo's love life are true, then he just must not be fit for settling down. For anyone asking why women bother to date him, because that's how we women are. We all want to be that ONE person who changes their ways. Unfortunately, usually we can't. Erin is ridiculously stunning, without even trying, so she'll have no problem snagging someone. What a beauty.
