It's on again! Justin Bieber holds hands with Selena Gomez as they meet up for America Music Awards after-party

It seems Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's rocky romance is officially back on.

The young pair were pictured at the Marriott Hotel in Downtown following the American Music Awards on Sunday night.

They were later seen holding hands outside Bootsy Bellows in Hollywood.

They attempted to keep a low profile as they dashed into the popular venue with security guards trying to hide their arrival with an umbrella.

Jenny McCarthy, who smothered the teen in kisses while presenting him with the pop/rock album prize for his record Believe, also confirmed the pair were together on Twitter.

'My cub @justinbeiber brought his acceptable and beautifully aged beauty Selena to the AMA after party,' McCarthy, 40, posted after the show. 'Guess I’m back on the prowl. Rww!'

It capped off a tumultuous few week for the young lovers, whose recent attempt to reconcile over dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Los Angeles on Friday ended with him being locked out of her home.

Selena, 20, had initially been expected to attend last night's event with the pop star, 18, but skipped the ceremony in the wake of their split earlier this month.

Justin opted to take his mother Pattie Mallette on the red carpet instead.

But sources say Selena was secretly laying low back stage at the event and left the Nokia theater with the singer following the show.

The Baby singer was a big winner at the event, scooping three gongs including artist of the year and the pop/rock male artist gongs.

He described the evening as one he would never forget.

He tweeted: 'Loss for words tonight. Like i said as long as you BELIEVE in me i will always try to make you proud. Thank you. tonight i will never forget.'

oh young love...leave them be, 18 and 20 years old is the appropriate time for on and off again relationships. Better they figure it out now rather than 10 years down the road. On another note, Please Justin get a new stylist!! Please, no one likes those pants!!!!
