'It's disgusting!' Lindsay Lohan vows she will have nothing to do with new half-sister or 'circus' that is her father

Lindsay Lohan has spectacularly vowed never to meet her new 17-year-old half-sister adding she wants nothing to do with the 'circus' that is her father Michael.

TMZ reports Lohan has 'no hard feelings towards Ashley but finds the situation "disgusting" especially because Micheal had the affair while he was still married to (and having kids with) wife Dina'

Lohan was last seen on Good Morning America on Friday where she clearly wasn't planning on giving her half-sister Ashley Horn any air time.

The 26-year-old actress brushed off questions from host Amy Robach when asked about her 17-year-old sibling, who was confirmed as the daughter of Michael Lohan following a DNA test - aired on the Trisha Goddard show this week.

When Robach brought up the subject, Lindsay responded: 'I didn’t even hear that, so thanks for the news.'

Pressed on the subject, Lohan - who was promoting her new film -shutdown Robach: 'I don’t pay attention to any of it. I can’t... I don’t really want to get into that because. I want to stay on the positive side of things.'

Lindsay's father Michael - who she is estranged from - appeared on the Trish talkshow this week, alongside Ashley and her mother.

The DNA test results - proving he did father Ashley during an affair with Kristi Horn while still married to Dina Lohan back in 1995 - came following several years of public dispute over the teenager's paternity.

But while Lindsay is in the headlines more for personal dramas than her films, the actress was sticking to the script during her Friday interview - and was only interested in promoting her Lifetime Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Liz & Dick.

Speaking about how she related to Taylor - who died from heart failure in March last year - Lohan said: 'I think that, and just as Elizabeth Taylor did, there was a time when I was just doing so much work constantly and I kind of had that moment where I was like, ‘Do I really love doing this?’' she said.

'And stepping back and seeing other people do other movies and then kind of noticing, "Wait, that’s what I love to do. I need to get in the right head space and just focus on being on set. That’s what makes me happiest".'

She means business: Lohan looked stylish in a black top and white skirt, teamed with tights, killer heels and a wool trench coat

The actress says she is now trying to re-focus her attention on her career: 'I’m reading scripts every day. I keep calling my agents. I’m like, "Just keep me on set. It’s safer that way".'

Lohan said she actively called the producer of Liz & Dick in a bid to get the role after hearing the movie was being made.

'I had seen that they were going to be making the movie and I got the producer’s number and started harassing Larry Thompson,' Lohan recalled.

'I didn’t even care if my agents were doing it or not. I just did it myself, too, because I was like, "You know what? I’m going to play this role, I have to do this".'

Asked by Robach who she turns to for support, Lindsay said it was her mother Dina and her siblings, Ali, Michael Jr and Cody.

'Elizabeth Taylor actually went to her mother a lot. She was really close to her mother, and I’m pretty much the same,' she referring to Dina.

Lindsay said she is pleased with the finished product with Liz & Dick - and relieved she has not been panned by critics.

'It’s really nerve-wracking to play someone that’s such an incredible force and a wonderful woman, so I was kind of nervous to see what people would think of it,' she said.

And speaking about her future, Lohan added: 'I’m in a great place. I just want to move forward, keep working. I’m in the process of kind of moving and spending time with my family and just be happy.'

Liz & Dick airs on Lifetime on November 25.

Just to add to my previous comment- I cannot believe anyone would ask her to play the role of Elizabeth Taylor. That is such an insult to Liz. She is in no way comparable to her in any way shape or form, I don't care how much makeup you put on her!

I'm no fan of Lindsay, but I can't blame her for not being particularly interested in a half-sister who is the product of her awful father's affair. She doesn't have any obligations just because of what her father did.

If I found out that I had a secret half sister I wouldn't be too happy about it either. It would take some time before I was ready to meet her and invite her to be part of my life. I realize that it wouldn't be her fault but that's just how I would fee.
