Been a good girl this year? Alessandra Ambrosio starts on her Christmas wishlist early as she pays Santa Claus a visit

She's had a busy year, so it's no wonder that she's already thinking about winding down for Christmas.

It might only be mid-November, but Victoria's Secret supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio is clearly already in the festive spirit after visiting Santa Claus on Monday.

The 31-year-old came across the in-store Father Christmas in Brazil and obviously couldn't resist perching on his knee to tell him whether she'd been naughty or nice this year.

Looking extremely happy to be cosying up to the man himself, Alessandra put an affectionate arm around him as she took a break from her promotional tour for Colcci.

Despite the time of year, the model looked summery in an off-the-shoulder top and with her dark hair falling in waves over her shoulders.

The Brazilian star must be looking forward to having a break over the Christmas period as she has been working continually since the high-profile Victoria's Secret show a couple of weeks ago.

Going straight from the catwalk to the promotional trip for the Brazil-based fashion company, the star has had a hectic schedule.

The model has been launching the new collection, part designed by her, in a number of department stores over the last week.

Alessandra tweeted a picture of herself on her private jet, which has been flying her all over the country to launch the collection.

Posting a picture of herself wearing a pair of dark sunglasses and gazing out of the window, she tweeted the hashtag '#touralessandraambrosiobycolcci.'

The star, who only gave birth to her son Noah just six months ago, will be preparing for her first Christmas as a mother-of-two.

Alessandra has been engaged to businessman Jamie Mazur since 2008.

I think she is really gorgeous and comes across as bubbly and nice, I also know I'll be red arrowed but whenever I look at pictures of her, it seems her body is longer than her legs (do not consider the high heels). am I seeing wrong? it doesn't take away any beauty off her but I just need to know if I require a pair of new reading lenses
