Heidi Klum prepares for first Thanksgiving without Seal as she takes her brood shopping with bodyguard boyfriend

She has spent the last couple of weeks jetting between Europe and Los Angeles to attend the American and European Music Awards.

But Heidi Klum was home for the holidays and back on mommy duty on Wednesday.

The Project Runway host was spotted out with her large brood indulging in some pre-Thanksgiving retail therapy at The Grove shopping centre in West Hollywood.

Wearing an eclectic ensemble consisting of a smock blouse, ripped jeans and a pair of studded wedge booties, the mum-of-four looked happy to have some time off.

The usually glamorous supermodel kept her hair tucked up under a grey felt hat and her make-up free face hidden behind a pair of tinted glasses.

Accompanying Heidi, 39, and her children Leni, Henry, Johan and Lou, was her new love, and longtime bodyguard, Martin Kristen.

The former Victoria's Secret Angel recently confirmed to Katie Couric that she is having a relationship with her bodyguard, Martin Kirsten, following her split from former husband Seal in January.

She told the talk show host: 'I trust him with my children's life. He's a great man, you know, and we just got to know each other from a completely different side.'

Heidi denied she had started the relationship with her bodyguard while still with Seal, despite Martin working for the couple for four years.

But another talk show host wasn't letting the model get off so easy.

This week Wendy Williams branded Heidi's relationship 'disgusting'.

On her show Wendy said: '[Kirsten has] worked for Heidi in the family for four years. Seal, you know what that means - and not just when you were out of town. I don't think this is a new relationship, do you?'

'It pains me to report stories like this when the woman, in my mind, is clearly in the wrong.'

Williams then encouraged the singer to make a grab for his former wife's money. 'You don't let the finances go with this divorce. I don't know how much you're worth, but she's worth more. You need half.'

Meanwhile, estranged husband Seal was also out shopping - 2000 miles away.

The Kiss From a Rose singer who is currently in Europe on tour was spotted shopping with friends in Warsaw, Poland.

Seal has kept a relatively low profile since publicly accusing his ex of having an affair with 'the help'.

CandiceL@SanDiego, Heidi is hardly at stay at home mom. They are always jetting here and there. She to Germany, New York, California, to handle her empire and shoot her show. and he to perform. So according to your estimation he's the bad guy, because he has to do his job and he enjoys it(just as she has to do hers and enjoy it). They are both WORKING PARENTS.

I have no interest in seeing her children. Please let them grow up without the paparazzi following them around. Heidi is not at work so her family should be allowed to walk around freely without press intrusion.
