I’m the Founder and CEO of Impassion Media, a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, and a StartingBloc Fellow on Social Innovation.
I’m passionate about communications, transitioning economies, post-conflict reconstruction, ethnography, and entrepreneurship – and am lucky enough to work at the intersection of these fields through my business, Impassion Media.
Before founding Impassion, I developed the first digital strategy for the McChrystal Group; trained and managed a team of social media analysts for a publicly traded oil and gas company; and conducted media relations in the aftermath of a magnitude 7.9 earthquake in Southern China. I’ve lived and worked around the world in markets both emerging and emerged, including Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Chile, India, and Spain.
I graduated from Tufts University in 2011, where I double majored in International Security and Anthropology, created the first-ever Field Exercise in Peace and Stability Operations (FieldEx), and over-exposed myself in various Undergraduate Admissions blogs. While at Tufts, I also earned a certificate in Humanitarian Field Practices from the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative.
I am fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, and am currently learning Dari.
