Australia state of the environment 2011 launched
The fourth national assessment of the state of Australia's environment was has been launched by the Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities, the Hon Tony Burke MP.

Minister appoints 2011 SoE Committee
Work on the next five-yearly national State of the Environment report has commenced in earnest with the formal appointment of the 2011 State of the Environment (SoE) Committee by the Minister for the Environment.
