What a transformation! Tamara Ecclestone goes from Shameless to chic as she wears little black dress for dinner with Trinny Woodall

Earlier in the day she was spotted in Harrods wearing a tracksuit and Ugg boots.

But Tamara Ecclestone proved that she's not about to shed her glamorous image just yet, as she swapped the Shameless look for a chic black dress for dinner.

The billionairess, who is never spotted out looking anything less than immaculate, clearly realised that she had to up her style game as she dined with fashion guru Trinny Woodall.

Leaving C restaurant on the arm of a male companion, the socialite went without a coat or a pair of tights, despite the wintery weather.

With her dark locks in ringlets over her shoulders, Tamara looked a far cry from her earlier image, proving what a few hours and an extensive wardrobe can do.

The 48-year-old former What Not To Wear presenter looked her usual stylish self in a royal blue dress and a huge, feathered coat.

She wore her light brown hair tousled over her shoulders and added a pair of thick black tights and black ankle boots.

Trinny carried a chic silver clutch and linked arms with her female friend who also wore a thick fur coat.

Just a few hours before, Tamara had been dressed slightly differently for her trip to the upmarket Knightbridge department store.

The loose tracksuit bottoms and well-worn sheepskin boots were more in keeping with rolling out of bed and popping to the local off licence to buy some cigarettes and a bottle of Lucozade than a fancy shopping trip.

The only thing missing from the socialite's chavtastic look was a Croydon facelift hairstyle - an extreme ponytail that pulls the skin of the face taut.

The royal blue tracksuit featured slogans and symbols relating to love and peace.

Beneath it she wore a plain black vest top, and on her feet a pair of grey Ugg boots.

The only part of the pretty brunette's look that was meticulous was her flowing hair and well-applied eyeliner.

If I were reading this in print form I'd have pencilled in the wire rim glasses, moustache and cigar to complete Ms Ecclestone's Groucho Marx look
