Fighting fit: Pregnant Amber Rose keeps her baby bump in shape with a morning hike up Runyon Canyon alongside her pet pups

She may be expecting her first child next month, but Amber Rose certainly isn't showing any sign of slowing down.

Far from putting her feet up and relaxing over the festive period, the 29-year-old model - who is expecting a baby with her rapper fiance, Wiz Khalifa - proved she is still fighting fit at seven months pregnant by embarking on a gruelling hike on Thursday.

The prolific tweeter treated her followers to a snap of her beaming from ear-to-ear after completing a strenuous walk up Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles alongside her two pet pooches.

Amber was sensibly kitted out for her bout of exercise, teaming a pair of black form-fitting leggings with a black long-sleeve T-shirt and a denim gilet, allowing her baby bump to be shown off in all its glory.

Writing alongside the cute snap, she wrote: 'Runyon Canyon with all 3 of my sons :-).'

Perhaps Amber's burst of exercise was in response to her overindulging during the festive period.

She tweeted on Wednesday: 'I just ate so much I'm about to pop.... Chunka Donka ;-).'

The shaven-headed star also posted a picture of her ever-expanding baby bump, and admitted her unborn son's fancy footwear was giving her grief.

Amber tweeted: 'Seriously if my belly gets any bigger! Lol 31 weeks Rosebuds & Rosestuds!!! Merry Xmas :-).

'I swear when my son kicks me he moves my whole body....He must have big feet & long legs like his Daddy sheesh :-).'

Amber and Wiz, real name Cameron Thomaz, have taken every opportunity to update their fans about their progress throughout the model's pregnancy, including her growing baby bump and photos of her wild food cravings.

Over the weekend, the model proclaimed 'pregnancy cravings r real' and posted a picture of a wild dish of vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and Pop Tarts.

Amber recently revealed how her pregnancy was touched with sadness as she previously suffered a miscarriage, with the couple left devastated after they lost their child during her first trimester.

The Black And Yellow rapper told DJ QDeezy on Philadelphia radio station Hot 107.9 that is why they waited until she was in her second trimester to announce Amber's pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards in September.

He explained: 'Her first pregnancy was like right before and it was unexpected. Right when we found out she was pregnant she lost the baby, and she got pregnant again like right around the time we found out she lost the baby.'

Its good to see she's keeping fit during her pregnancy. I think too many women use pregnancy as an excuse to be greedy and attack verbally attack other pregnant women for exercising
