I just finished watching the documentary Ubranized and found it to be a wonderful piece about urban design and planning. Well thought out and they really traveled the globe to various cities to examine the dynamic between population / cultural factors and their physical imprints. About to watch Ai Weiwei right now.
The surprisingly entertaining Four Brothers by John Singleton is up. So is a personal favorite, For Love of The Game.
This movie is bad but in a very entertaining way. My favorite parts are the very end (vision/hallucination) and the scene of Marky Mark stalking out onto the ice. Apparently he just walked 10 miles (with purpose!) to arrive at the exact right moment.
I'm watching The Loneliest Planet now. I love Bernal and the scenery is gorgeous but...it has 41 minutes left to impress me.
I was just coming here to post that. Without a doubt this is one of the best TV dramas I've ever seen and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to catch up. So. Fucking. Good.
Ditto. I caught bits and pieces of its initial run, but sitting down and going through from the beginning has been a real treat. Especially in the wake of all the recent horrible events, its great to see Sorkin & Co. go after gun control and the NRA lobbyists right off the bat.
