The UnCommon Coffeehouse
The Uncommon Coffeehouse is now officially venerable. Any acoustic music venue that can celebrate its 28th anniversary,
such as the Uncommon, can certainly lay claim to that title.
As one of the leading coffeehouses in the metro Boston area, the Uncommon has been the host for hundreds of top folk, big band, and world acts since its beginnings in the mid-80s. We have welcomed such greats asTom Rush, Cheryl Wheeler, Tom Paxton, and Garnet Rogers to our stage. At the same time, the Uncommon recognizes its responsibility to nurture up and coming artists, and has actively pursued engaging exciting opening acts, such as Tracy O’Connell and Liz Moore.
Our next concert will be held on Friday, September 21, 2012 when the UnCommon Coffeehouse will welcome James Keelaghan back to our stage. This will be the first show of our 2012-2013 season!
Opening for James will be Jason Myles Goss.

As a volunteer-based organization, the Uncommon has been extremely fortunate in having a dedicated corps of music-lovers who happily show up concert after concert, year after year, and in some cases, decade after decade. Please plan on joining them and your fellow music fans at some of our events in this, our anniversary year, and help celebrate the joy of live music here in Framingham.
