KD's been too long away from her hometown, but will remedy that with a show with Jeffrey Foucault at the Bell House on Nov. 19. It's a CD release show for Jeffrey's album Cold Satellite, a great batch of songs inspired by the work of poet Lisa Olstein. KD will play solo, with visitation rights from Jeff and his cohorts, and Jeff's set will be with the Cold Satellite band. KD will play bass and sing some backing vocals as the amazing Adam Zucker channels Mr. Costello. Local folks, come on down. There are plans in the works to have the LPs travel at least as far as Boston, if not further, so keep an eye out! 9.21.08   KD & WINTERPILLS ON XM!     Back in May, KD played a live set at XM Radio's The Loft with the mighty Winterpills backing her up. The Midwestern dates are co-bills with Jeffrey Foucault. 8.20.08   AN APOLOGY Sorry to the many of you turned away from the Redbird show in Whately, and we do apologize for the bad information about ticket sales on the artists' websites; there was a miscommunication with the venue. Kris, Jeff, Peter, and Goody plan to book another western Mass show (in a larger venue!) as soon as schedules allow. 7.14.08   IT'S A GIRL     Since KD's pregnancy was such a presence throughout the Shotgun Singer release tours, we thought we'd share the good news that her daughter Hazel was born on June 25! KD is taking most of the summer off and will be playing shows around New England this fall - details on the tour page. There will be touring further afield once we get into 2009. 5.30.08   SIDE PROJECT ALERT!     KD is playing bass and singing backup vocals in a new project called The LPs - a loose band with rotating members who will be playing an entire classic album live once a month at the Rendezvous in Turners Falls, Mass. This TUESDAY, JUNE 3 at 9 pm, the LPs will perform Neil Young's "Comes a Time," with David Goodrich on guitars, not one but two drummers, and Jeffrey Foucault as Neil. 4.24.08   "BLUE ADELINE" on "BROTHERS & SISTERS" Viewers of ABC's "Brothers and Sisters" will hear a familiar voice during this week's show, as KD's "Blue Adeline" will show up somewhere in the soundtrack. The show airs Sunday, 4/27 at 10:00pm EST. 4.22.08   EAST COAST SHOWS! KD will be wrapping up the Shotgun Singer release tour on the east coast over the next two weeks. Many of the shows will feature Signature Sounds labelmate the Winterpills backing KD up for some of her set. Browse on over and check them out... 2.27.08   KD AND WINTERPILLS VISIT THE WEST COAST!     For the entire west coast tour, KD's labelmates the Winterpills will be backing her up as her band. The Winterpills' evocative sound and amazing harmony vocals are the perfect fit for the songs on Shotgun Singer . The shows will also feature an opening set by the Winterpills as themselves. Some of the clubs are small, so be sure to reserve your tix early so you don't miss out! 1.30.08   SHOTGUN SINGER ON ITS WAY!     The new album, Shotgun Singer, is finished and will be out in the world soon. The official Signature Sounds release date is April 15, but KD will be selling it on the road starting with the west coast dates in March.
