One more added today.....

5 new Tutorials have been added this weekend!
Sorry I haven't had time to add anything lately.I am actually editing for a change !
On the tutorial side I have a couple of bigger projects taking shape.
1. The promised follow up to the AvidDVD Tutorials... going in a little deeper,
and a series of about 6 tutorials showing my workflow from an MC timeline all the way onto the web.Including my use of Dreamweaver and On2FlixPro in the process.ETA - possibly within the next 10 days (But that would be speculation hehehehehehe
New Tutorial added today!
Having finished the Tutorial on Avid Pan & Zoom, I thought it was only fair to do one on BCC Pan & Zoom.
I uploaded it now!
Today - February 27th. 2009 - I have added a short series of 3 Tutorials.
They deal with getting your material from your timeline up onto the web. There are so many different views and opinions on encoding for the web that I am sure we can look forward to quite a few tips from readers.
My workflow is based on an older workflow I used in my Liquid days.Back then I used Procoder as a intermediate encoder before I could use FlixPro to do the final Flash encoding. With MC I am now able to cut out the middle-man by using a QT-reference file.
In the same way those of you who are using Squeeze in your encoding for the web might like to look at my workflow and discover if you might also save a step.
Of course, most of us got Squeeze when we purchased MC.But just becasue we have it doesn't mean we must use it for everything
I have never had any problems with aspect ratios or combing when using the method I describe in the tutorials.
But - each to his own!
Good luck,Douglas
1 more Tutorial added today.
At the same time as adding new tutorials I am trying to work my way through the first 20 or so.I did them in my Camtasia Childhood and did them in the wrong format for the best upload to Avid's Video area. Because of that they are a little more trying to download and view.At the very least I am formatting them correctly and uploading again. In doing this I am probably going to get a bit mixed up (No Avid style Media Management in Camtasia )If you find a link that is not working as you would expect it to work.... or if you find I have uploaded the same tutorial twice!! please post a message in this thread, or email me direct.
Thank you,
Due to the instability in the Forum at present, I am unable to edit my 80+ Tutorials listing.
It should now read "90 Tutorials . . . . " and the latest one can be found HERE.I will update the list as soon as possible.

NEW TUTORIAL 91
New Tutorial uploaded Friday 13th of March!
At last I think I have completed the uploading and transfer of all the older tutorials to Avid's streaming server. That means that all the tutorials should play instantly.
I think it will make it more convenient for viewers.
Wow!! Thank you Douglas.
I have always been working on DV standard format and now I'm about to upgrade from Xpress pro to MC, and we are also buying new HDV cameras. So now is the right time for me to learn about HD.
I am prettified just thinking about all the formats issues that I will find on my way. I know that with MC I will be able to edit different formats DV, HDV, HD, in the same project, right? but I think that to export a mix format project is much more complicated. Also I'm concern about 16x9 and 4;3 issues that I will encounter when editing footage from different cameras. I'm so confused with SD, HDV, HD, DNxHD, DVCPROHD, that I can not sleep at night!
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you and perhaps give you ideas for your new tutorials.
Thanks again
Jordi
