Yahoo! Suggestion Board

Yahoo! Suggestion Board gives site users the opportunity to help improve Yahoo!’s products and services by providing feedback and suggestions directly to Yahoo!. You must be signed into the Yahoo! Network in order to make suggestions and post comments.

Information Collection and Use

• You have the option of providing an email address when posting a suggestion.
• Your email address will not be displayed publicly but may be used by Yahoo! to contact you regarding your suggestion.
• If you rate a suggestion your feedback will be aggregated and anonymous.
• You may report abuse using the ‘report abuse’ links throughout the site.
• When you file an abuse report, Yahoo! will receive certain information automatically including your Yahoo! ID as well as the location of the violation that you are reporting.
• You will need to provide your email address, the nature of the abuse you are reporting and the Yahoo! ID of the other party.
• Optionally, you may provide your name and any additional information regarding the abuse you are reporting.
• Your email address may be used to contact you regarding your abuse report but will not be used for any marketing purposes.
• When posting a suggestion or comment, you will be able to choose a display name and display image that you would like to have associated with the content you provide.
• Yahoo! Suggestion Boards uses the Yahoo! Alerts service to manage the alerts that you set on the site.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

• When posting content on Yahoo! Suggestion Boards you will have the opportunity to choose how you are identified.
• The content that you provide on Yahoo! Suggestion Boards as well as your chosen identity will be displayed publicly, searchable and available for public comment.
• The display image and display name that you provide will be available for display across the Yahoo! Network in association with your various content and profiles.
• Updates you make to your display image and display name will be applied retroactively to existing content you have posted on Yahoo! Local and may appear retroactively to your other content and profiles across the Yahoo! Network.
• If you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return.

Your Ability to Update or Delete Information

• To delete a suggestion or comment you have posted, sign into the Yahoo! Network and click the ‘delete’ button next to your suggestion or comment or visit the ‘My Activity’ page and select the appropriate option.
