Jeremy Renner tells Eva Longoria, 'I got my ex-girlfriend pregnant': Actor's 'bombshell revelation' at Golden Globes

Jeremy Renner is said to have got one of his ex-girlfriend's pregnant.

The 42-year-old Hollywood star was overheard telling Eva Longoria of his news at Sunday's Golden Globes, according to Us Weekly.

The publication claims to have spoken to two witnesses who heard Renner talking to Longoria on the smoking patio at the awards show in Los Angeles.

The witnesses heard him telling an apparently-shocked Longoria: 'I'm going to fly in when her water breaks.'

Eva then reportedly said: 'I'm so blown away.'

The ex-girlfriend is said to be due to give birth next month and is currently living at The Bourne Legacy actor's LA home.

Of the relationship, a source told Us Weekly: 'They used to date but it wasn't serious.'

The insider added Renner is 'being ultra-secretive about it... but she has been going on about her life and not hiding it'.

Last April the fiercely private actor denied rumours he was gay, telling The Hollywood Reporter: 'I want my personal life to be personal, and it's not f***ing true.'

MailOnline has contacted Renner's representatives for comment.

Renner is currently promoting his upcoming film with British actress Gemma Arterton, Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, which opens in cinemas on January 25.

The actor appeared on the Today show on Wednesday alongside his co-star, where he talked about the movie, in which he plays the brother and Arterton plays the sister.

'We have a little sense of humor for sure,' he told Matt Lauer.

'But there's really no technique in the sense that it's sloppy and more Western. We get our butts kicked a lot in this. The action is sort of full-on.... it's pretty sloppy -- and a lot of fun.'

So this is how it is now? You dont talk to people directly you just report on overhead private conversations that take place in smokers corners, toilets and taxis?! Wow, I wouldnt be surprised if celebs didnt start routinely sweeping for bugs in their cars and homes if THIS is the new way of reporting.
